Description

No. 2 Portland Street is a house built in the early 19th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, featuring integral gable-end stacks. The east front is two storeys high and has two windows, both of which are 4-pane sashes set beneath plastered wedge lintels with stone sills. The ground floor includes a central entrance that is also under a plastered wedge lintel, with a half-glazed door added in the 20th century. This building is included for its group value.
