Description

The northern half of Weobley Stores is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates back to the 15th century, with a floor added in the 17th century, and has undergone some alterations in the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. The building features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill, topped by a slate roof. Originally designed in an H-plan, the north cross-wing has been removed.

The east front is two storeys high, with a jettied section on the left and coved eaves on the right. On the left side, there is a five-light window with restored chamfered mullions, while to the right, a six-light window under the coving also features restored chamfered mullions. The ground floor includes a three-light window on the right and a fixed window on the left, situated between two half-glazed doors. The framing consists of two square panels high to the first floor, supported by two curved angle braces in the jettied range.

Inside, the cross-passage was located in the south wing, which still retains two ogee door heads. The remaining roof trusses are all cusped above the collar.
