Description
No. 18 Welch Gate is a house built in the late 18th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and late 20th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has a machine tile roof with gable end stacks. The building is two storeys high and features a dentilled brick cornice. There are three windows, which are sashes with tripartite glazing. The ground floor has a pilastered design with brackets supporting a moulded cornice that runs across the entire front. There are entrances at each corner, each with an overlight and a four-panelled door. In the central part, there is an entrance to the left with a four-panelled door, the upper two panels being glazed, and a four-pane plate glass window to the right.
