Description
No. 32 Lax Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century, with mid-19th century and some late 20th century alterations. It is constructed of blue brick and has a tile roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic, which is illuminated by a gabled dormer on the right side. It features a dentilled brick cornice and has two windows on the upper floor, which are boxed sashes with tripartite glazing and brick sills. On the ground floor, there are two windows to the right, also sashes with tripartite glazing, set beneath segmental heads. The entrance is located to the left of centre and is approached by two steps. It has a wooden architrave, an overlight, and a segmental head, leading to a ledged and boarded door. There is also a blocked entrance in the left-hand corner with a segmental head. The building is included for its group value.
