Description
Number 29 (Wee Wee Cottage), 30, and 31 (Peggitty) are probably five houses that have been combined into three. They date from the early 19th century and have undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of brick and feature a tile roof.
To the left, there is a carriage entrance that leads to a room above, which is part of number 29. Number 30 is located in the middle, while number 31 is on the right. The houses are two storeys high and have a dentilled brick cornice. There are seven windows in total, all of which are 2-light casements. On the ground floor, there are six windows, also 2-light casements, set under segmental heads, except for the second window from the left, which is blind.
The entrances are as follows: number 29 has its door to the right of the first window, featuring a wooden architrave and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door. Number 30's entrance is to the right of centre, next to a straight joint, and also has a wooden architrave with a segmental head and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door. Number 31's entrance is to the left of the last window and of a straight joint, featuring a segmental head and a ledged and boarded door. The last part on the right has a slightly lower roof and a blocked doorway at the right-hand corner. The buildings are included for their group value.
