Description

A group of three houses located at 39, 41, and 43 Woolton Street, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Each house has two storeys and two bays. A sill band runs around the front, and there is a top cornice. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrances are round-headed, with architraves, imposts, and reeded friezes. Number 39 features a four-panel door; number 41 has a 20th-century six-panel door and a complete fanlight; and number 43 has a six-panel door. The houses are part of a complete street group on what was originally the main village street.
