Description

The Old House is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features one bay by two bays. It has a pedimental gable and quoins. The windows are adorned with stucco wedge lintels that are scored to resemble gauged brick flat arches. The gable includes bull's eyes. To the right, there is a six-panel door, and the left return is similar. The round-headed entrance features a complete fanlight and a six-panel door. The Old House is part of a complete street group located on what was originally the main village street.
