Description

Two late 18th-century houses, now combined into one dwelling, stand on the north side of Lax Lane. The houses are constructed of brick with a machine tile roof. They have two storeys and a dentilled brick cornice. The front elevation features five windows, which are 2-light casements. The ground floor has four windows of varying sizes, each with a segmental head. The entrances on the left and right corners have wooden architraves and segmental heads, with 20th-century ledged and boarded doors. A window to the left of centre is located within a blocked doorway. The buildings are listed for their contribution to the group value of the surrounding area.
