Description
This is a mid-18th century house, later altered in the early 19th century and with some late 20th-century changes. It is now used as a house, flat and shop. The building is constructed of brick with a tile roof and features gable-end stacks. It is three storeys high and has two windows on the front elevation. The upper floors contain box sash windows with glazing bars, with the second floor windows being nine-pane sashes. The ground floor has a sixteen-pane sash window on the left, topped with a plastered wedge lintel. The main entrance is located slightly left-of-centre, with a wooden architrave and a two-pane overlight above a ledged and boarded door. The right-hand half of the ground floor is a shop. A mid-19th century shop front is present, featuring pilasters and a shallow flat canopy. The shop entrance is slightly off-centre to the left, with a glazed door and multi-pane shop windows on either side.
