Description
This is an early 18th-century house, altered in the mid-20th century, located on the north side of High Street, Bewdley. The building is constructed of brick with a tile roof. It is three storeys high, with a band marking the first floor and a stone-coped parapet. The ground floor has a timber lintel spanning the entire width, and features seven windows. The upper floors have 20th-century timber cross-windows, with the second floor windows being two-light casements with brick soldier courses above. The ground floor includes significant 20th-century brickwork, along with three reset 16-pane sash windows from the 19th century. The entrance, located to the left of the centre, is accessed by two steps and features a heavily moulded wooden architrave, a flat wooden canopy, a two-pane overlight, and a six-panel door. The building is included on the list for its group value.
