Description

Blair House is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and restoration completed in 1981. It features a timber-frame structure with plastered infill above a stuccoed brick ground floor and has a tiled roof. The building has two storeys over a cellar, and an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. The first floor includes a 4-light casement window, while the ground floor also has a 4-light casement window. To the right, there is a passage that has a moulded wooden architrave and a ledged and boarded door fitted with 17th-century strap hinges. The framing displays close-studding with a mid-rail and a moulded bressummer supporting a shallow jetty at the first floor and attic levels.
