Description

No 10 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, with mid 19th century and some mid 20th century alterations. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features a dentilled brick cornice. There are three windows on the upper floors, which are sixteen-pane sashes set under segmental heads; the leftmost window has a flat head. The second floor has eight-pane sashes. On the ground floor, there are two six-pane sashes under segmental heads to the right. The entrance, located to the left, includes a wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters, an open pediment, a segmental fanlight, and a four-panel door, of which the upper two panels are glazed.
