Description

The railings, gates, and memorial located in the courtyard of the Pickering United Reformed (Congregational) Church date from the early 19th century. The iron yard railings and gates are situated to the east of the church, which also features a memorial made of ashlar, complete with an urn and plinth. These elements are included for their group interest with the church. The railings and gates, along with the church and nearby properties numbered 29 to 31 and 33 to 47, as well as 49 to 52, form a cohesive group.
