Description
The walls, gatepiers, steps, and attached gates and railings located approximately 10 meters north, south, and west of the United Reformed Church date from around 1875 and are likely the work of E. Sharman. They are constructed from squared coursed ironstone with ashlar and brick dressings. The square piers feature gabled and pyramid copings, with some topped by cast iron finials. There is one pair and four single cast iron gates, which connect the gatepiers and walls, adorned with floret and leaf decoration. These gates were made by the Reynolds foundry of Little Harrowden. Additionally, there are sections of railings in a similar style that abut Queen Street. Together, these elements form a circuit around the churchyard of the United Reformed Church.
