Description

The gate piers, gateway, and railings on the east side of the churchyard date from the early 19th century and are made of ashlar and cast iron. They consist of single square ashlar gate piers topped with hipped copes that flank a pair of double cast iron gates. These gates feature dagger spikes and arched braces on the upper panels, with curled terminals framing the design. Above the gates is a plain semi-circular overthrow. To the left, there are open railings with a top rail and dagger terminals, set on a low brick wall with a coped top.
