Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a plain tiled roof that features exposed rafters and three rendered gable stacks.
Originally designed in a T-plan, the Old Rectory is two stories high with a three-bay front. Each floor has three glazing bar sashes with cambered stone lintels. The central window, which originally held the door, now has the entrance relocated to the rear wing on the side. There are no internal contemporary fittings remaining.
