Description

The chest tomb located at the east end of the Church of St John the Baptist dates back to 1720. It is constructed of ashlar stone set on a later brick base and commemorates members of the Radcliffe family. The tomb features a moulded base and top, with central and flanking fluted pilasters that outline the inscription panels on the sides and end.
