Description

This is a late 18th-century house, likely dating from 1802, that has been altered in the late 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a pantile roof with two brick gable stacks. The main three-bay front is two storeys high with a garret. The central front door is a 19th-century half-glazed design. To the left of the door is a 19th-century three-light sash window, and to the right, a 20th-century four-light window, which has widened the original opening. The first floor has a blocked light in the centre, flanked by single 19th-century three-light sash windows. All window and door openings have splayed lintels. Above the blocked light is a datestone inscribed "WES 1802." To the left is a lower two-storey single-bay range with single plain sashes on both floors and a blocked opening on the ground floor.
