Description

The railings in front of the United Reformed Church in Maldon date from the late 19th century. They are made of cast iron and feature spearhead designs, back stays, and octagonal main supports topped with pointed finials. The railings are set atop a low brick wall that has stone coping. There is a former pedestrian gateway that includes smaller octagonal supports and one surviving gate from a pair, which matches the design of the railings.
