Description

The railings and wall outside Highfield United Reformed Church, located on New North Road, date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of ashlar stone and feature piers with plain caps. The gatepiers are cylindrical, topped with cornices and similar capitals. There are cantilevered iron torcheres and elaborate cast iron railings, adding to the decorative quality of the structure.
