Description
Nos 63 and 65 on New North Road are mid-19th century buildings constructed from ashlar with a hipped slate roof. They are two storeys high and feature a moulded eaves cornice adorned with ornamental modillions. The buildings have raised and moulded quoins and five ranges of sash windows with moulded surrounds. The entrance to No 63 includes a door with a semi-circular fanlight set in a concave rusticated surround, complete with panelled spandrels and pilasters that have scrolled brackets supporting a moulded cornice. No 65 has a door with an oblong fanlight in a moulded surround, featuring tall scrolled consoles that support a segmental pediment. The south front displays three window ranges, including one canted bay that has a moulded frieze and entablature.
