Description

Laurel Cottage is a house that has an 18th century or earlier core and was remodeled in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with stone dressings and features a graduated greenslate roof. The building has two storeys and three irregularly placed windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. There is a slightly off-centre panelled door, and all openings have plain surrounds. Traces of earlier blocked windows can be seen. The house has two tall chimneys, with the one on the left being stepped. There is a lean-to addition on the right that protrudes in front of the house, but this addition is not of interest.
