Description
Manor House is a house that dates back to 1701, as indicated by the initials and date on a panel above and to the right of the door. It was extended and remodelled in the late 18th century. The building is constructed of stone rubble with stone dressings and features a graduated greenslate roof with a stone ridge.
The house has two storeys, with the right-hand part including three sash windows with glazing bars, except for two blind attic windows on the right, all set in plain surrounds. There is a six-panelled door on the left, also in a plain surround, topped with a bracketed cornice. The left-hand part of the house features a tripartite sash window in a plain surround, along with Venetian windows above that have interlacing glazing bars. Additional architectural details include a plinth, a corniced ogee gutter, and three chimneys.
