Description

The Square House is a house with a shop on the ground floor, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble with stone dressings and a slate roof. The building is three storeys high with a three-window facade. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A 19th-century panelled door, with glazed upper panels, is located centrally, and a later glazed panelled door is to the right. A plain shop window sits between the doors and a sash window to the right. The building has a plinth and a first-floor string, with two end chimneys. The property is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
