Description
This cottage, which may have been converted from outbuildings, dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble with quoins set on a plinth of stone blocks. The roof is hipped and covered with graduated slate, featuring a stone mid-chimney. The building has two storeys and five bays.
On the far left, there is a plank door with a rectangular fanlight above it. Next to this, there is a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight, framed by a 19th-century pilastered wooden surround, with one sash window to the left and two sash windows to the right. The first floor has a single sash window, while the second window has been blocked. All the sash windows are 16-pane.
