Description

This is an 18th-century house, later used as a shop. It is constructed of incised stucco over a rubble base, with a cornice along the eaves. The roof is slate, with a stone chimney on the south end. The building is three storeys high and three bays wide. A panelled door, set within a wooden surround with pilasters, leads to the rear yard; there is a spiked grille above the door. A 19th or 20th-century shop front, featuring a corniced wooden surround with pilasters, includes a 20th-century glazed door on the right side. Three sash windows with glazing bars are present on each floor above; the second-floor windows are shorter than those below. A decorative rainwater head is on the right side. The building is included on the list for its group value with numbers 134 and 136.
