Description
Oaken Cross is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared rubble and features a gable-ended, tiled roof with brick stacks at both ends. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range and a central door. On the ground floor, the left side has a 20th-century three-light casement window, while the right side has a three-light sash window with glazing bars. The first-floor windows are iron casements with leaded lights, and there is a single gabled dormer. To the right, there is a single-storey attached outbuilding range. The plain door is situated under a segmental hood supported by shaped brackets. Internal features include a fireplace with a moulded surround and some fielded panelling.
