Description
Old Malt House is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century, with various later alterations. It is constructed from coursed rubble and brickwork, which is colourwashed. The roof is tiled and gable-ended, featuring end brick stacks. The house has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows. On the right side, there is a three-light window with a wooden dentil cornice, followed by a canted bay. To the left, there is another three-light window. The doorway features a reeded architrave with angle paterae and a flat hood, leading to a part-glazed door. The upper floor windows are modern metal casements. Originally, this house was part of a group of brewery buildings located nearby.
