Description

This is an early 18th-century house, later altered. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a gable-ended slate roof and brick stacks at various locations. The house has two storeys and attics, with a five-window front. Most windows are casements with glazing bars. The ground floor features two canted bays with glazing bars, flanking the doorway. Above the doorway is a pedimented hood supported on shaped brackets. The building is described in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Dorset, volume III, page 157, entry number 26.
