Description

Kentisford House is likely of early 18th century origin, although it has undergone significant alterations since its construction. The house is built of ashlar and has a tiled, gable-ended roof with a brick stack on a stone chimney breast to the right. It is two storeys high, originally comprising two bays, with a two-bay extension set at a right angle to the left. The original range features sash windows with vertical glazing bars; the ground floor window to the right is a three-light casement with horizontal glazing bars. The extension has four-pane sashes. A 20th century glazed door has been inserted. A plat-band runs around the building. A blocked stone-mullioned window is visible within the gable of the original range.
