Description

High Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features two first floor windows. On the right side, there is a boarded door set in a stone surround with impost blocks and a weather course above. To the left, there is a secondary doorway that has a 20th-century glazed door. The cottage has four-pane sash windows, along with a small modern window on the ground floor to the left. There is ashlar coping on the left side and a central stack. This building is included in the listing mainly for its group value context.
