Description

This is an 18th-century byre located to the west of Simon's Garth. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has two storeys. The front of the building faces the village green and features projecting through-stones and crude quoins. There is one doorway with an ashlar surround on each floor, along with a later doorway on the ground floor to the right. The building also has crudely-shaped kneelers and ashlar copings. It is included in the listing partly for its group value context.
