Description
Bridge End Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 18th century and was altered and extended in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubblestone and has a pantile roof, featuring an L-shaped plan.
The cottage has two storeys and two bays, with the left-hand bay being half the depth of the right. It has quoins and a central board door. To the right of the door is a canted, multi-pane window with a flat roof, while to the left and on the first floor are sash windows with glazing bars. The openings have plain stone lintels, and the windows have projecting sills. The building is topped with ashlar coping and has stacks at the right end and on the ridge near the left end, which has a mono-pitch roof. The cottage is included for its group value.
