Description
73 and 75 High Street are two houses built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed sandstone and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of three bays. The left side has quoins, and between the first and second bays, as well as between the second and third bays, there are six-panel doors set in raised ashlar surrounds with splayed bases. The houses have 16-pane sash windows with exposed sash boxes, projecting ashlar sills, and deep lintels. There is a lead rainwater head and pipe to the right of the door for No 73, and ashlar coping is present on the left. Stacks are located at the left end and between the first door and the second bay.
