Description
No. 90 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and features a stone slate roof, which has been repaired with artificial slates. The building is two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. The quoins are prominent, and on the ground floor to the left, there is a part-glazed door set in a chamfered quoined ashlar surround, with a small window to its left. The cottage has 4-pane sash windows, each with stone lintels and projecting sills. There is ashlar coping on the right side, and a rebuilt brick stack at the right end. The right return of the building has a blocked quoined door surround. This cottage is included for its group value.
