Description
Bridge End Farmhouse is a farmhouse and cottage that has been combined into one house, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It features colour-washed roughcast rubble and coursed rubble, with concrete interlocking tile roofs. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of windows with one window on the left, two in the center, and one on the right on the first floor.
The main range is centrally located, with two ground floor sash windows that have glazing bars and are set in raised ashlar surrounds. On the first floor, there are six-pane sash windows. The ends of the building have stacks. To the left, the range continues in coursed rubble and includes board doors in a carriageway, with a six-pane sash window above. To the right, there is a recessed bay featuring a board door in an ashlar chamfered quoined surround, with a four-pane sash window on each floor, also in raised ashlar surrounds, and a brick stack at the right end.
