Description

No. 87 High Street is a house from the early 18th century. It is built of rubble with a pantile roof and stone slates at the eaves. The house has two storeys and a rear outshut, featuring two first-floor windows. It has quoins at the corners and a central board door set beneath a deep lintel. The side-sliding sash windows have projecting ashlar sills and deep lintels. To the left, there is a raised verge with reversed crowstepping, and the house has end stacks.
