Description

The Blacksmith's Forge is a smithy dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a Welsh slate roof and is a single-storey building with three bays. The structure features quoins, and its openings have deep lintels. A central boarded stable door is flanked by four-pane windows. The building has ashlar coping and a small chimney at the left end, along with a wrought-iron weather-vane at the right end. Attached to the rear right is the former shoeing shop, which has a pantile roof. The forge has been reopened and now functions as a blacksmith's workshop. It is included for its group value.
