Description

46 High Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is built of coursed sandstone and has a 20th-century clay pantile roof with stone slates at the eaves. The building has two storeys and features two first-floor windows. There are quoins on the left side of the house and a central part-glazed door. To the right on the ground floor, there is a canted bay window with glazing bars and a lead flat roof. The other windows are sashes with glazing bars and exposed sash boxes. The left side has a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping, and there is an old brick corniced stack at the left end.
