Description
The White Swan Inn is an inn dating from the mid-18th century, with 19th-century additions and alterations. It features a rendered exterior and has a combination of 20th-century pantile and Welsh slate roofs. The building is three storeys on the left side and two storeys on the right, with a total of four first-floor windows arranged in a 2:2 pattern.
The main section on the left has three storeys, a plinth, and a central nine-panel door set in a narrow stone surround with splayed bases. It includes four-pane sash windows, which are shorter on the second floor, and a band running along the second floor. The roof is finished with pantiles, and there are end stacks.
The later addition on the right side has two taller storeys and features a segmental-arched carriageway that now serves as a porch. This section also has four-pane sash windows, including one to the left of the arch, and is topped with a Welsh slate roof.
