Description

Two houses, built in the early 19th century. The houses have roughcast walls and a 20th-century clay pantile roof. They are two storeys high, with a three-bay arrangement, although number 47 has its entrance at the rear. The main house is located to the right (number 49), and features a central six-panel door set within an ashlar doorcase. This doorcase has an architrave, a plain frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, projecting sills, and deep lintels. To the left, in number 47, is a single bay of matching windows. The houses have an ashlar coping. Brick stacks are located at the ends and between the first and second bays. To the right, a lead rainwater pipe features a fluted head.
