Description

No. 43 High Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone and stands two storeys high with one bay. The right side features quoins, while the left side has a six-panel door set within a quoined ashlar surround. There are 16-pane sash windows with crown glass, each framed in raised ashlar surrounds. The building is topped with a cyma recta cornice and has ashlar coping on the right side. A brick stack is located at the right end of the house.
