Description

Nos. 11-14, which now serve as a surgery and offices, are houses that form part of a terrace built in the 1870s. They are constructed from calciferous sandstone ashlar and feature a chamfered plinth, decorative strings, and a bracketed cornice with dividing finials. The roofs are made of graduated greenslate, with a 20th-century dormer on No. 11, and white brick chimney stacks at the ridge and ends. The buildings are three stories high with a basement and consist of two bays each, following a double-depth plan.

Each house has either a left or right panelled door with a fanlight, and Nos. 12-14 have sidelights, all accessed via steps leading to a large arched porch with half columns. The columns on Nos. 13 and 14 are made of polished granite and feature Corinthian capitals. Nos. 13 and 14 have canted bay windows that extend from the basements, while Nos. 11 and 12 have square bay windows above. Other sash windows are present in chamfered surrounds, with those above the bays arranged in pairs. The interiors have not been inspected. Additionally, Nos. 13 and 14 retain their cast-iron speared railings surrounding the cellar voids.
