Description
Nos. 5 and 6 are a pair of terrace houses built in the late 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature a slate roof with stacks. The houses have a double depth plan and rise to two and three storeys, presenting a three-window range. Notable exterior features include an eaves band and horned plate glass sash windows. The windows have painted roll edged reveals and moulded lintels above central paired bolection moulded four-panel doors, which are topped with overlights. On either side of the doors are single sashes, and above them are three additional sashes, with a further single sash on the top floor to the left. Attached to No. 6 is a former garden wall, which has sloping courses and rubblestone at the ground floor, facing a later right wing that includes 20th-century double planked doors to the left. The interiors have not been inspected.
