Description

Nos. 82 and 84 Bury Street are a pair of houses dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. They are timber-framed and sit on a brick plinth, featuring later brick end gables and a brick wing at the rear. The houses have a pantile roof and are one storey high with an attic, following a lobby entrance plan. The central entrance has a 6-panelled door with a flat hood above it. To the right of the entrance is an early 19th-century 3-light casement window, while to the left is a 20th-century 2-light casement window. The roof is mansard with a central ridge stack. The rear of No. 84 is built of 19th-century brick and has two storeys, with windows featuring horned sashes.
