Description
The Pot of Flowers is a former public house, now a private house, dating from the late 18th century. It features a plastered and colourwashed timber-frame construction with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range on the first floor. Access is provided by two early 20th-century half-glazed doors, while to the right, there is an 18th-century plank door leading to a passage, complete with an overlight that has glazing bars. The doors are flanked by three 8/8 sash windows, although the extreme left window has 3/3 glazing bars, horns, and a hood, indicating it was formerly a shop display window. The first floor is lit by two late 18th-century three-light casements and one two-light late 18th-century casement, along with an early 20th-century two-light casement above the door to No. 90, totaling four windows. The gabled roof has a ridge stack located to the left of centre, while a second stack has been removed.
