Description

This is a late 18th-century house, altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. The house is narrow and of double-depth, with the main entrance on the right side. It has a single storey, an attic, and a basement. The front has one window. A modern iron railing sits in front of the basement area. The front door is set within a plain recess. The window is an eight-over-eight sash without an architrave. A heavy cornice suggests a shopfront may have existed beneath the window. The roof is a mansard style, with a single flat-topped dormer window containing an eight-over-eight sash. The rear elevation is not visible. The house's relatively low height might be due to the existing lights of the adjacent property at No.1 Vineyards. The interior has not been inspected.
