Description
Lodge Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, which was refronted in the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and has an artificial stone slate roof with flanking brick stacks. The building is in an L-plan, featuring two storeys and an attic with three bays. There is a 20th-century gabled central porch made of stone and timber. The inner doorway has a wood lintel and a plank door, with sash windows that have wood lintels on either side. Similar sash windows are found on the first floor. The house has a modillion cornice, and the interior includes stop-chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace.
