Description

Ivy House is a late 17th-century house located on the north side of Queens Street, Culworth. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with ironstone dressings, and has an old tile roof with brick and stone stacks. The house is two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The central doorway features a plain stone frame, a part-glazed six-panel door, and a 20th-century timber lattice work porch. Flanking the doorway are two-light windows with stone mullions, transoms, and square hoods. Similar windows are present in the outer bays on the first floor. A central window on the first floor is a single light with a transom and square hood; all windows have leaded panes. The gable ends are coped and feature kneelers. A brick extension is located at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
