Description

The cross base and war memorial located on the south side of The Green in Culworth is a medieval structure with a 20th-century shaft and cross. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a square base with four steps. The shaft is topped with small niches that have crocketed canopies, each containing carved figures. A cross sits atop the structure.
